Lenna's Ladybugs is an organization dedicated to clothing the children of the world.
We were started in Oct. 2012 after the death of our dear friend, Lenna Moser. While visiting Haiti, some years ago, Lenna developed a huge heart for the children of Haiti. After her death, our Small Group Bible study decided to do something in her honor and memory.
We began making t-shirt dresses to be sent to the little girls in Haiti. Soon, we added headbands and barrettes to the packages, then underwear and head scarves. The older girls also receive a purse crocheted from recycled grocery bags. Each Ladybug dress has a tiny ladybug button sewn onto the left shoulder. Within six months we delivered 150 dresses to Haiti.
In the fall of 2013 we began to collect, new boys shorts, shirts and underwear. The younger boys also receive a toy car, when we have them available.
To date, (March 2024) with the help of over 800 volunteers. We have been able to send dress packages and boys packages to over 29 mission partners in 22 countries including Haiti, Honduras, Zimbabwe, South Sudan, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mexico, Philippines, Burkina Faso, and Dominican Republic, with many more being added.
We have sent a total of 22,953 total packages since our start in 2013!

We have become a 501c3 non profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. We now have a Lenna's Ladybugs Chapter in Florida and sewing groups in several other states. We also have a number of monthly sponsors.

Our Vision

God is blessing this ministry and stretching us to do more. We have been able to expand our ministry to every corner of the globe. In the near future we hope to send Lenna's Ladybug packages to the Ukraine. We are beginning to branch out into heavier clothes, with hats and scarves added to the packages for cooler climates. We have also added an interactive Vacation Bible School program that we can do at your church's VBS.

Donations
We are always in need of girls and boys t-shirts, boys pants or shorts (All sizes toddler to 14), fabric (1 yard or larger), brightly colored buttons, thread, boys and girls underwear, barrettes, headbands, gallon size zip bags, yarn.
